The battery charge terminal has a stationary contact set for connection to a mobile contact set on the electrically driven car. The stationary contact set (12) is mounted in a given spatial arrangement to track rails (10) which are downwards inclined in the direction of the stationary contact set. The mobile contact set (15) on the car (14) can be brought in such position as to permit easy connection with the stationary set when the car runs on the rails. The rails are pref. arranged on a rocking arrangement. Both the contact sets may consist of two mutually crosswise extending rails, or other elements. The contact sets may be arranged behind deformable covers which open automatically on approach of the two contact sets. These covers may be foldable as a bellows and/or flaps. Alternately, the contact sets may be formed by flat abutting plates, with switching contacts for the charging circuit behind them.
