Foil packaging container - has tear=off edge with abrasive particles forming protrusions at extraction slot

The packaging and storage container is for a web of sheet material, such as an aluminium, or plastics foil. It has a slot with a tear-off edge through which the foil is extracted. The edge is covered with a strip (9) coated with abrasive particles forming cutting protrustions. The strip can be secured to the container (1) over its whole surface, and its coating can consist of corundum particles held in place by adhesive. The slot can be formed by a tear-open strip (4) with a lug between perforated lines.
