International dialling system between radio linked subscribers - is automatic and has direct data link between terminal which are connected to telephone exchanges and subscriber radio telephones

The telephone system enables international calls to be made from one mobile radio linked subscriber to another with an economic use of numbers. The system comprises main terminals (1,2) with which the radio telephones of the subscribers (111,11n;211,21n) are linked. These terminals are in turn connected to telephone exchanges (3,4) and their associated lines (5). In addition there is a direct data link (6,6') between the terminals (1,2). To set up a call there is first an exchange of information over the data link during which the calling terminal is advised of the number reserved for the subscriber being called. This selected channel is reserved for a period during which the calling station sets up the connection via the telephone system.
