The survival capsule-suit for shipwrecked seafarers is buoyant, airtight and watertight. It has trousers made of ultra-strong woven fabric, oil- and seawater-proof and embodying thermal insulation with an annular lifebelt around the opening. The belt has two brace-straps and a central support-strap, and a light alloy/plastics ring on top embodying a seal. Completing the capsule is a 60 cm (approx) high hood of rigid plexiglass (RTM) with a ring and seal around the base like the lifebelt to which it is clampable. The hood has sleeves made of the same material as the trousers, and, head-high in the front, an openable port.
