Bottle for feeding baby - includes snifter valve in base of bottle to relieve vacuum caused by sucking out milk

The baby's bottle (1) has a snifter valve (5,6). This valve is designed to allow counteraction of the vacuum generated inside it on sucking it dry. The valve is spring-loaded shut, and it may be opened either by finger pressure or automatically by the vacuum inside the bottle. The valve is situated in the bottom of the bottle it can only let air in; it never lets milk out. There is a plastics base piece (4) surrounding the valve and forming the bottom of the bottle.
