The angular element made of sheet iron or steel, or other stable material, engages the two adjoining edge stones, in a corner piece for an enclosure round a grave. This element (8) provides a gutter-type enclosure (12,13) for the lower part of the two boundary stones (5,6). The open width between the element's upright sidewalls is greater than 8 cm. pref. approx. 12 cm. The sidewall (12) on its inside may be higher than the one (13) on its outside. One shank (10) may be additionally stiffened by a reinforcing loop. This fixes position securely for an indefinite length of time, without risk of damage to edge stones.
