摘要

The hydrogen fuel engine is fitted with a hydride accumulator. After switching-off of the engine the residue operating heat is used for generation of a free hydrogen from the hydride phase, in sufficient quantity for a new start. This hydrogen generation pref. takes place via the exhaust system. Alternately, cooling water for engine oil systems is used for this purpose. The hydride accumulator is connected to the exhaust manifold and the starter motor (4) is connected via the engine (2) to an accumulator battery (1) across a timing relay (3). A start gas container with series-connected non-return valve (7) is coupled to the hydride accumulator (6). To the suction system of the gas container are connected an ignition controlled gas proportioning valve (9), a pressure volume control (10), and an air-gas mixer (11).
