In a new process for the prodn. of carbonyl-thiocarbonyl-amine derivs. ACONHSCB (I) a 1,3,5-thiadiazine deriv. (II) is reacted with an active hydrogen cpd. R7-XH (III), possibly with simultaneous elimination of HSCN, in the presence of an inert solvent at ca 0-150 deg.C (where A is -YR4 or -NH-CS-YR6; Y is O, S or NR5; R4 is alkyl, aralkyl or aryl or, when Y is NR5, also H; R5 is H, alkyl, aralkyl or aryl; R6 is aryl; B is XR3; X is O, S or NR2; R3 is alkyl, aralkyl or aryl or when X is NR2, also H; or -XR3 is morpholino, piperidino, piperazino or thiomorpholino; R2 is H, alkylaralkyl or aryl; or A and B are each morpholino, piperidino, piperazino or thiomorpholine; or A and B together form a residue -NR8-CS-NH- in which R8 is aralkyl or aryl; and R7 is R4 and R6, or -YR7 is morpholine, piperazino, piperidino or thiomorpholino; or, when X is NH, -YR7 is an N-R3-N- (5,6-dihydro-4-oxo-6- thioxo-4H-1,3,5 thiodiazin-2-yl) amino residue). (I) are useful as pharmaceuticals, microbicides, fungicides and insecticides.
