The output spindle of the pump is fixed in position by two opposite end faces, and has a feed thread with small core diameter. The pressure side end face of the output spindle forms the end face of the thrust compensation piston. The second end face of the output spindle forms the flank of a ring groove, which engages on the shoulder of a ring collar on the drive spindle. The groove is formed in the full diameter of the output spindle between the feed thread end and the compensation piston. It has an internal diameter which is larger than the core diameter of the feed thread. The external diameter of the collar on the drive spindle is smaller than the external diameter of the feed thread of the drive spindle.
