Automatic sliding door operation control - has electric motor drive controlled by door mat pressure switch and signals from door position sensor

Mechanism and control circuit for automatic sliding doors is used on lifts or remote controlled doors in industrial applications. The mechanism consists of an electric motor with reducing gear and an output end in operating connection with the door. The starting impulse for the electric motor originates from a door mat pressure switch. The door positioning device constantly monitors the position of the door leaf and produces a signal related to the near-end position of the leaf and the motor speed is reduced. The door positioning device transmits a signal also to a time switch which stops the motor when the leaf has arrived in the closing position. Time switch is fitted to operate the motor aftersome time, when the person has left the door mat switch and the door is driven towards the closing position.
