The package holds four bottles and is made from a single blank of cardboard. This is of equal width along its length, being folded over the bottles to give two open sides. The necks of the bottles protrude through openings at the top (d) and the ends of the blank slot together as the base (g). Each vertical edge forming the open sides is reinforced by folded in strips (19). At the bottom corners, these provide triangular reinforcing gussets (12, 16) holding the bottles in place. At the top, the strips continue across the front, providing a reinforcement (34, 39) to the upper edges.
