Inductive heating coil for cooker hotplate - has large number of turns in central area and intermediate zone spaced from hot plate

The inducting heating coil uses Foucault currents and has a flat spiral shape. The inductor burns are shared over the radial profile to obtain a constant heating effect. A metallic plate (4) which is being heated is placed over the coil (5) and close to it. The central area (6) of the coil has a large number of turns to reduce to a min. the central area which is not heated directly. A median zone (7) is spaced from the plate to level out the heating power response. This zone is connected to the central area via a connecting area (8) with an inclined shape to compensate for the small missing area in the centre. The outer area (9) has an inclined shape to compensate for the effects of the rim.
