The plastics or steel cradle has two sides (1) with three steps (2), the sides having a mixture of curved and straight edges. In one position the candle can support sand sieves for plasterwork, the sieves being rocked without effort by using the curved edges (4). When the cradle is placed upside down, the traverse pieces (3) whch are set on different planes, allow a hod to be supported in several different positions.
