Additional rear bumper for car - is curved tube bolted to boot or rear door of body with near vertical rear panel

The additional bumper increases the efficiency of the original by protecting against small knocks. It is for vehicles with the rear end vertical or nearly so. Fixing is to the boot or rear door and a curved tube is welded at each end. Fixing is by a U shaped clamp, with one face pierced by two holes. On these are welded two nuts and, with bolts these lock the fixing lug on to the boot. On the other face are welded two tubes to support the curved tube.
