Herbicide compsn. contains a mixt. of 2-methoxy-4-ethylamino- 6-tertbutylamino-s-triazine, (I), and 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6- X-NH-s-triazine, (II), (where X is ethyl (methyl is stated in claim 1) (cpd. IIa) or isopropyl (cpd. IIb)) and opt. N,N-dimethyl-N'-(3,4-dichloro phenyl)-urea, (III), and/or a 4-trifluoro methyl-2-chloro-3'-R-4'-nitro diphenylether, (IV), (where R is alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, carboxy, carbalkoxy, carboxyalkyl, carbalkoxyalkyl, carbamoyloxy or alkanoyloxy (pref. ethoxy)). Synergistic herbicidal compsn. active against a wide range of weeds at both the pre- and post-emergent stages. The compsn. may be used selectively to control weeds in the cultivation of trees and bushes, such as vines, apples, pears, citrus fruit, peaches, druperceous species etc. and in herbaceous crops, such as winter lucerne. The compsn. may also be used as a total herbicide for dikes, ditches, roads, railways, industrial zones, etc. As selective herbicide compsn. is used as 1-8 kg/ha.
