DIVISIONAL CONSTRUCTION OF MARINE STRUCTURE BY DIVISION METHOD

PURPOSE:To construct a marine structure by effectively utilizing the existing narrow repairing docks, etc., by a method in which an inversed L-shaped frontal structure and a L-shaped rear structure are separately built up in a dock, and then they are joined with each other by matching the center lines of both structures. CONSTITUTION:A marine structure 1 is divided into an inversed L-shaped frontal structure 2 and an L-shaped rear structure 3 on the plane basis, and they are built up separately in a dock 4 in such a way that the cut portions 5 and 6 of the structure 2 can be combined with the corresponding cut portions 2a and 3a of the other structure 3. Then, both the structures 2 and 3 are delivered to a construction site on the sea and joined with each other by matching the center lines C1 and C2 of both the structures.
