DISMANTLING AND REMOVAL PROCESS OF LATTICE-BRICK AND PARTITION OF HOT BLAST STOVE

PURPOSE:To perform dismantling and removal of the furnace refractories and the partition in a short time by arranging explosives at the specified positions in the hot blast stove and exploding them in case of dismantling and removal of the lattice- brick and the partition in the hot blast stove. CONSTITUTION:When the heat exchange lattice-bricks and the partition bricks 5 in the hot stove are broken up and removed, the opening 3 is opened at the iron cover 2 opposite to the partition 5 above the adapter plate 4 in the furnace. Then, explosives are charged in the ventilation holes of the lower lattice-bricks 7 from the bottom of the furnace, further at the specified places of the ventilation holes of the upper lattice-bricks 10 from the menhole 9 of the furnace upper part. Further a plurality of charge holes 12 are drilled in the lower part of the partition 5 and the explosives 11' are charged in them. The lattice-bricks 7, 10 and the partition 5 bricks are broken up by exploding the explosives and discharged from the opening 3 made at the lower part of the iron wall by explosion power automatically.
