PURPOSE:A blower is set on the outlet side in the rotatable drum for fire-drying equipped with a heating burner on the lower part and a cone-shaped wind guides are provided in the drum to prevent the product from badly smelling and produce good-quality product. CONSTITUTION:Tea leaves, supplied from hopper 2, are treated with the heat of the burner 20 in the fire-drying drum rotated with the motor M1 and taken out of the outlet 6''. A wind is sent by the fan 15 on the outlet side and brought into contact with tea leaves with the aid of the cone-shaped wind guides 13 in the drum 6 to remove the bad smells simultaneously at the start of the roasting. The fire of the burner 20 is controlled by the temperature sensor 26 to keep appropriate temperature.
