HIGH-PRECISION WATER GAUGE TESTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-precision water gauge testing device which is free from any wear or distortion caused by the load, by securing such constitution in that a water gauge is put on a driving stage and then the stage is moved up and down to detect the value of a linear scale provided to a different post with the height detector provided at the driving part. CONSTITUTION:The driving stage 3 holding the water gauge 7 is shifted by turning both the coarse adjustment handle 5 and fine adjustment knob 6, and the distance of shift is read in a high precision by the height detector 8 fixed to the stage 3 and by reading the value of a linear scale provided to a different post to be displayed on the counter 13. On the other hand, the output of gauge 7 is displayed to the counter 15. Then a comparison is given to the value between the reading counter 13 and the water gauge counter 15 to give a test to the gauage 7. In such way of test, the wear or distortion can be prevented for a water gauge testing device.
