Compression-absorption refrigeration system - evaporates and dissolves gas continuously along straight chamber enclosing solution

The gaseous solution circulates in an absorbent liquid via a closed loop between an absorber and an evaporator. Heat application to the latter expels some of the gas from the absorbent. Gases expelled after compression are separately recycled to the absorbent, and by extraction of heat from the solution the recycled gas is reabsorbed and dissolved in it, being then directed to the evaporator. Evaporation and reabsorption of the gas take place continuously along a straight chamber enclosing the solution in evaporator and absorber. This is effected by raising and lowering successively to solution temperature between the chamber inlet and outlet.
