The levitation system uses a number of levitation frames coupled to the respective train carriages via springs and dampers and each frame having a number of partial magnets in turn supported via springs and dampers. Each partial magnet is freely adjustable in a vertical direction. Auxiliary magnets for the stray flux are inserted between the main magnets and the magnetic circuit is completed by an iron yoke at the rear of the main magnets. The track circuit uses DC coils providing a field directly opposing that provided by the levitation magnets, to support the train via the force of repulsion. Pref. the levitation frames can be hydraulically adjusted sidewards for high stability.
