Individual small wooden or wood-type boards are easily and quickly removed from, or replaced on, a ceiling, to lay or readjust leads, pipes or shafts behind cladding in buildings. Boards are held in position only by small spring plates, and are thus easily tilted and removed. The system involves clipping transversely aligned steel springs, in the form of a double U-shape, with hooks, into carrier rails. No screws, nails or other permanent fixtures are involved. Boards are held on both sides, and are unlikely to warp.
