A joint for the overlapping edges of two corrugated sheets (1, 2) includes a hooked clip (3) which fits onto the edge of the top sheet (1) and another Z shaped bent clip (7) which is attached to the lower sheet to secure it to the flange of e.g. an I beam supporting the sheets near the overlapping zone. The clip (3) is bent into V shape to fit around the exposed edge of the upper sheet, with curved extremity, and with a horizontal portion underneath, which fits between the troughs of the overlapping portions. Further inwards, a nut (8) and bolt (5) fasten the two overlapping troughs together. The head of the bolt is concealed by the bent strip thus protecting.
