Foetus monitoring system during labour - defines max. beat reduction when intra-uterine pressure returns to basic level

The system monitors a foetus before and during labour, determining the normal or basic foetal cardiac frequency and comparing it with values measured during reductions. A parameter is instantly calculated proportional to the area on a graph between a frequency curve. This is done during reduction and the extension of the curve corresponding to the basic frequency determined. The maximum reduction in beats is defined at the moment when the intra-uterine pressure falls back to the basic level following a uterine contraction.
