The manometer is intended for low pressure measurements and comprises vertical, U-shaped tube filled with a coloured liquid. A slider is provided to measure the difference in level between both arms of the 'U'. The 'U' tube is mfd. in a transparent, or slightly tinted plastics block having planar surfaces. Each arm is ended at its top by a threaded chamber fitted with a valve and at its bottom by a chamber fitted with a pierced stopper and a closing ball. The two bottom chambers are connected by a channel. The manometer is also fitted with a swivelling hook used to hang it or to support it. Leaks are avoided during measurement, in vertical position, and at rest, in horizontal position.
