PURPOSE:To permit setting of more kinds of functions with axial operations of a winding stem by decreasing the number of contacts which assume opened and closed states cooperatively with the axial operations of the winding stem and discriminating the respective operations in the axial direction of the winding stem. CONSTITUTION:When a winding crown 3 is rotated clockwise, a pulse signal which goes to a high level ''1'' in order of (b), (c), (a) is obtained by a contact spring 6. When the crown 3 is rotated counterclockwise, a pulse signal which goes to a high level ''1'' in order of (c), (b), (a) is obtained by said spring 6. The pulse signals obtained at the stationary contacts (a), (b), (c) of a switch S2 are inputted to a forming circuit 44 for correction signals, by which the inputting sequence thereof is discriminated, and the 1st correction signal P1 and the 2nd correction signal P2 are formed. Discrimination and display are executed by the 1st one pulse of the signals P1 and P2 and correcting operation is executed from the correction pulse of the 2nd pulse.
