METHOD OF INSTALLING SPLIT HYDRAULIC JACK FOR HYDRAULIC ELEVATOR

PURPOSE:To improve the working efficiency of installing split hydraulic jacks in narrow space by temporarily securing upper and lower jack assembly to installing position as they are, connecting corresponding members to each other, and centering the entire assembly. CONSTITUTION:A lower jack assembly is placed on a jack bearer 11 secured to predetermined position of a pit 9. After the lower jack assembly is then centered as predetermined, it is secured onto wall surface 10 via bracket 12 and U-bolt 13. After a lower plunger member 3b is then pulled out and is held by a plunger holder 17, an upper cap 7 is removed. After an upper jack assembly is then lifted directly above the lower jack assembly to be temporarily secured thereto, the threaded portion 2c of the upper plunger member 3a is connected to the coupler 4 of the lower plunger member 3b. Then, the upper cylinder assembly is correctly secured to the wall surface 10 by the U-bolt 13c to thus complete the installation of the jack.
