METHOD FOR HEATING RAW MATERIALS IN DIGESTING TANK AND STORAGE TANK FOR GENERATION OF GASEOUS METHANE AT STABLE TEMPERATURE OVER LONG PERIOD OF TIME

PURPOSE:To suppress the abrupt fermentation of compost by piling org. waste such as chaff in addition to other compositing materials, covering the surfaces with non-air permeable film-like materials and embedding a digesting tank, a raw material storage tank, etc. therein. CONSTITUTION:The circumferences of a digesting tank 1 and a raw material storage tank 2 are covered with composting layers, which are divided to suppressing layers 3 and quick forming layers 4. The partitions between the upper parts of the layers 3 and the layers 4 are covered with film-like materials 5 and slight clearances are made at the bottom ends of the partitions. The composting layers are shut off from the atmospheric air by walls or embankments 6 having high heat insulation characteristic. The inner sides of the walls or the embankments are compacted with concrete or compaction soil or are covered with non-air permeable film-like materials manufactured of plastics, asphalt, rubber or sealed fabrics. Storage housing 1 covering the entire part of the gaseous methane producing device may be assembled of bamboo, wood or metals or may be of straws of cogons thatching.
