PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of cluster plates, by enabling the connection of the plural rotary tool shafts of the cluster plates to the plural universal-joint- fitted transmission shafts of a multispindle drilling head. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of cluster plates A are housed in a storage chamber C. After the hanging portion 1 of the cluster plate A is engaged with the hanger 22 of a conveying arm D, the arm is swung to convey the cluster plate between the storage chamber C and the cluster head plate attach/detach reference face 5 of a multispindle drilling head 13. The connection and disconnection of the rotary tool shaft 4 of the cluster plate with the universal-joint-fitted expansible shaft 6 of the multispindle drilling head 13 are easily effected by a means 10.
