Desk for minicomputer - has antivibration sling for printer and storage rack for floppy discs

This desk accommodates the various parts of a mini-computer system, e.g. the actual computer circuit cards, a visual display unit, a floppy disc drive unit and a line printer. The desk consists of a flat surface, with a sloping surface at the front. It is supported by a metal stand consisting of two round pillars and front-to back feet. The visual display unit sits on top of the disc drive unit in the centre of the desk, just behind the keyboard. The keyboard is built into the sloping surface. A window in the right-hand-side of the sloping surface allows a view of the output of the line printer, which is supported in a hammock-type sling under the flat surface. The sling limits the amount of vibration caused by the action of the printer. The left-hand-sides of both surfaces slide to the left to expose a rack in which the miniature floppy discs can be stored.
