A first photographic image 1, in the form of a hologram of the tooth 2 and of fixing points 3 located close to the tooth in a first evaluation, is arranged next to a second photographic image 4', in the form of a hologram of the tooth 2' and of fixing points 3' located close to the tooth in a second evaluation. Adjustment members 5, 6, 7 are provided in order to permit a relative displacement of the first photographic image 1 relative to the second photographic image 4'. This brings the fixing points 3 in the first photographic image to correspond with the fixing points 3' in the second photographic image 4', after which the displacement of the tooth 2 can be evaluated as a discrepancy between the position of the tooth in the first photographic image 1 and the position of the tooth in the second photographic image 4'.
