The colour count indicator comprises six base colours and produces the decimal system count by colour combination. Four of the six base colours are provided in marked form, with each colour symbol representing a basic number in the decimal system. The indicator can also be produced from five basic colours, with all five occurring in marked and unmarked form. The indicator is also available in cube form, using two identical cubes to produce the decimal system basic count. Each side of the cubes has different colours, with four of the six basic colours marked on the one cube, and two of the two basic numbers being doubly represented.
