The L-section block for regulating the foundation course of a house forms a precised plumbed bed suitable for cladding slabs that extend for a full storey height. A course of concrete breeze blocks is placed on the foundation and boards (P1, P2) are clamped to this course extending upwards to achieve a bed joint. The interior face (2) of the block (BS) is placed on an angle (C) of board (P2). The block (BS) is precisely plumbed with a wedge (V), horizontal reinforcement is placed and the slab cast. Cladding and vertical reinforcement is then placed with vertical concrete infill.
