The window has two panels (21,22). The former is fixed to the window opening by a telescopic arm (33) connected to the centre of the panel. The latter is fixed to the frame by a fixed length connecting rod (30) connected to the bottom of the panel. When the window is closed the two panels are aligned to completely cover the opening. When the window is opened using a handle (2) the two panels sweep out different circles and the second panel folds back onto the first panel by articulating about the connecting joint (24).
