The connecting strap may be very quickly fixed . The connector consists of a stainless steel rectangular piece with claws at each corner and one central claw. A leg from this piece is folded over the clamping strap body and an electrical connection is made to this with a screw or bolt or spade connection to the spill end. The claws cut into the metal structure under the pressure of the strap. The clamping strap is made of a plastics and is notched. The strap buckle is placed over the connector and the tongue of the strap threaded through the buckle which has a one way ratchet to prevent the strap from working loose. The leg of the connector is then folded over and held by a notch in the buckle.
