Grenade launcher for armoured vehicle turret - has revolver with tapered barrel end fitting tube in turret opening

The grenade launcher is for the turret of an armoured vehicle. It consists of a revolver (10) with a barrel (12) ending in a tapered part (14). A cylindrical tube (18) extends the cone and the free end fits in a turret opening (30). There are guides (36,38) to give axial movement between a front position where the tapered part engages in the end of the tube and a withdrawn position where it is disengaged from the tube. In this position the revolver and barrel can be pivoted to leave the tube end free.
