METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ANALYZING THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF A BUILDING

The method consists in simultaneously measuring the operating duration of a heating apparatus and the external temperature, and in storing these values in memory in an automatic apparatus. This apparatus, of small dimensions, includes a microprocessor, a memory and an electrical battery capable of keeping power applied to the apparatus for seven days. The capacity of the memory allows hourly samples for three weeks. The apparatus can be sent by post, for reading and processing the measurements by a microcomputer.
