Microcomputer system for processing scientific and technical texts - contains keyboard with four level keys for normal and specialised characters associated with VDU and daisy wheel printer

A micro computer with a keyboard and VDU is provided with several storage units with non volatile memory. Hardware and software interfaces allow information to be transferred between the computer and the peripheral units which include a daisy wheel printer and magnetic tape units. A set of programms permit the processing of text in the memory and allows transmission between the computer and the other units. The keyboard is configured at four levels to represent four different characters which include special characters for mathematical formulae. All these characters can be displayed on the VDU. The printer has two printing heads to allow printing of ordinary characters and for Greek or mathematical characters.
