The tool for attaching price tag fixings uses assemblies of fixings designed so that entanglement of fixings not yet attached to parts of fabric is avoided. Each fixing (P) has a head connected by a long thread to a cross piece (P1) which on its far side is provided with a neck (P3) connecting a block (P2) by which the individual fixings (P) are held together for loading into the tool. During operation, the set of fixings is guided in an extended part (8) of the upper part (4) of the tool. The channel created by legs (8a,b) of the extended part guides the connecting block between the individual fixings.
