Machine for dressing metal concrete reinforcement wire - uses motorised winch pulley to pull wires through pre-dressing rollers and return it over dressing roller

The machine dresses metal wire concrete reinforcement, using a motorised winch pulley (6) to pull the wire through a group (2) of pre-dressing rollers and return it over a dressing roller (12). The use of the relatively large diameter pulley reduces adverse affects on wire ribs etc., treatment in a horizontal plane being carried out by the roller group whilst the second roller acts in both a horizontal and a vertical plane. The group may comprise pairs (3,3a,4,4a) of longitudinally offset rollers which straddle the wire and are mounted on vertical axles, cantilevered from a beam (19 etc) incorporated in the sub-frame.
