The combined stopper and pouring spout is for use on plastics bottles etc., comprising a body (2) together with a cap (9) and a guarantee seal. The body incorporates an annular spout (8) and fits on the bottle opening in an airtight manner, the cap houses demountably onto the body to close the spout, and the seal comprises a band (16) which is torn off prior to the first use. The bottom edge of the cap has an internally projecting annular outstand (13) together with externally projecting teeth (15), the former engaging a similar body formation (14), whilst the latter fits between easily breakable bars (18) connecting the band to the body. The arrangement improves resistance to internal pressure. The bars project from raised sectors (19), and the band comprises a belt located by a cross wall (5) and a lip (17).
