BATCH TYPE FORCED CONVECTION HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To heat uniformly, by quick convection, the inside and outside of a treating material by providing a discharge fan for circulating the atmosphere in a furnace and a suction fan on the opposite side, and providing a suction duct enclosing the end face part of the treating material to the suction fan. CONSTITUTION:A suction fan 9 having a suction duct 10 enclosing the end face part of a treating material 7 is provided to the door 8 of a furnace body 1. When discharge and suction fans are operated together with a heating element 5 such as a radiant tube, the inside of the material 7 is forcibly sucked by the fan 9 and the atmosphere discharged from a nozzle 6 is circulated in the same way as in the outside circumferential part of the material 7. The balance in the wind pressure and air flow rate of the fans 3 and 9 is accomplished by controlling the rotating speed of the fan 9 with a motor 11 for the fan 9 as a variable speed motor.
