An advance ramp is situated at the contact surface level between the mould halves and is for inserting the labels. They go between the mould halves when the mould is open and the ramp has two parallel channels from an opening for housing opposite label edges. - The advance mechanism has two parts and the label moves between them for individual forward movement between the transferring parts, all as a function of the work cycle of the two mould halves.
