The flasks (4) to be controlled are brought step by step to the inspection station after a rotation which imparts a vortex motion to the liquid contents. A TV camera (5) sends the images of each flask to control equipment (6) carrying in its memory the image of the flask and contents acting as a reference standard. A comparison is made and this automatically causes the evacuation of flasks whose liquids contain impurities.
