Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein Y is chloro or bromo; X is - -S--, --SO-- or --SO.sub.2 --; and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, lower alkenyl of 3 or more carbon atoms, alkylene carbalkoxy or aryl or aralkyl optionally substituted with one or two substituents each independently selected from halogen, nitro, cyano, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, trihalo substituted methyl and phenoxy are fungicidal and/or intermediates in the preparation of fungicides.
