DEODORIZING METHOD OF MALODOROUS GAS AND DEODORANT

PURPOSE:To efficiently deodorize malodorous gas in inexpensive installation cost and maintenance control cost, by passing malodorous gas through an adsorbing layer packed with KANUMA soil. CONSTITUTION:Pebbles (d), a fibrous material (c) made of a synthetic resin material (c) and a net (b) are layed to the air passage 4 formed between a side wall 10 and a partition wall 11 and the upper space of said passage 4 is packed with KANUMA soil (a). Malodorous gas from a sewage tank or a water purification tank is sent to said passage from an air feed pipe 2 to be allowed to pass the adsorbing packed bed of KANUMA soil. During this time, malodorous components are removed by adsorption. When the malodorous gas is acidic one, an adsorbent mixed with an alkali agent such as NaOH or Ca(OH)2 is packed in the adsorbing packed bed.
