PURPOSE:In desalting a saccharide solution by electrodialysis using PVA diaphragm, to raise extremely current density, and to aim improvement in desalting ratio, suppression of microorganism multiplication, miniaturization of device, and cost reduction, by keeping the temperature of the solution to be treated in a specific range. CONSTITUTION:In desalting a saccharide solution and a fermentation solution using the saccharide solution as a raw material by electrodialysis using PVA diaphragm, the temperature of the solution to be treated is kept at 45-70 deg.C, preferably at 50-60 deg.C. EFFECT:A long-period continuous operation is made possible.
