PURPOSE:To permit easy melting and to decrease intrusion of gas into a molten metal in the stage of supplying said metal by embedding a heating member by casting into a light alloy base metal. CONSTITUTION:An alloy base metal is formed by embedding, for example, U-shaped ferrous pipes 3 by casting into a light alloy such as an aluminum alloy subjected to a degassing treatment. The manufacture of a product by using such metal 1 is accomplished by charging the metal 1 into a ladle 5 hooked by hooks 7, heating the pipes 3 by a burner 4 to melt the metal 1 and pouring the molten metal into a casting mold 6. The light alloy base metal having excellent quality is thus used without requiring an installation such as a melting furnace, holding furnace or the like.
