Abstract of the DisclosureThere is disclosed a novel fouling and corrosion testassembly including a metallic tube having a heating elementembedded in a heat conductive material for controlled heatinput and with a thermocouple to measure wall temperature ofthe tube, and a metallic sleeve disposed about a predeter-mined portion of the metallic tube whereby the fouling andcorrosion test assembly is disposed within conduit and valveassemblies in fluid flow communication with a fluid todetermine corrosion rate by weight loss of the metallicsleeve under controlled heat input, temperature conditionsand fluid flow rates for a predetermined time period.
