ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURENew compounds of the formula: IVwherein,Z is H, C1-C10 alkyl, halo, C1-C10 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl,hydroxy, C1-C10 alkanoyloxy, or C1-C10 alkanoylamino;Y is H, C1-C10 alkyl, halo, C1-C10 alkoxy, trifluoromethyl,hydroxy, C1-C10 alkanoyloxy, or C1-C10 alkanoylamino;X is F, Cl, Br or NR1R2 in which R1 and R2 are independentlyH, C1-C10 alkyl, C2-C10 alkenyl, C2-C10 alkynyl, C3-C10cycloalkyl, C6-C10 aryl or C7-C10 aralkyl.These compounds are useful as intermediates in thepreparation of corresponding compounds which have pharmaceuti-cal use in the treatment of renal cardiovascular disorders.
